Our story is one that is deeply rooted in personal loss and resilience.
We started Open Arms Pet Hostel in 2004 after the tragic passing of our beloved labrador. We knew that there had to be a better way to care for pets, but we didn't know how to do it. So we did what any good entrepreneur does: we started experimenting.
We tried everything from dog-walking services to pet-sitting, but nothing felt right. That's when we realized that what we were doing was more than just a business—it was our calling. It was our way of honoring Sampson's memory by helping other animals feel loved and cared for in the same way he had been.
So here we are today, still striving to make sure every dog feels at home here at Open Arms Pet Hostel. We have a long way to go, but with your support and trust, we know that one day we'll get there!
